With a background as a mortgage adviser for the past seven years, I have recently transitioned into a new role, assisting with the day-to-day operations at Pegg Estates. I love what I do because no two days are the same—whether it’s managing social media, engaging with vendors, or ensuring the smooth running of the business, every day feels productive and rewarding.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner, business owner Ben Pegg, and our two boys, Reuben (8) and Reign (2), along with our beloved dog, Thor.

Emma Burrows

Administrator

With over 24 years of experience in estate agency, I have managed both Sales and Lettings since leaving school. One of the most rewarding aspects of my career is seeing the joy on a client’s face when they collect their keys on completion—it’s a moment that never gets old.

I recently joined Pegg Estates, and it has been a fantastic experience working for an independent, family-run business that truly values its clients and team.

Outside of work, I’m a busy mum who loves spending time with my husband, our five children, and our puppy, enjoying long walks together.

With over a decade in the financial industry and eight years specializing in mortgages and protection, I have helped countless clients navigate the home-buying process with confidence. My extensive industry knowledge allows me to assist with a wide range of scenarios, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience—whether it’s purchasing a first home, moving to a new property, remortgaging, or investing in buy-to-let.

Having recently welcomed my first little boy, Hugo, and spending the past eight months on maternity leave, I now understand more than ever the importance of flexibility for my clients.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and our five-year-old Chihuahua, Penny. You’ll often find us enjoying the fresh sea air on Torquay seafront or relaxing with a coffee while people-watching by the harbour.

I have been working in property since 2018, and I absolutely love what I do—especially listing homes. Meeting different people, seeing their properties, and helping them move on to their dream homes is incredibly rewarding.

In my personal life, I’m a proud mum of two and thrive in busy environments, both at home and at work. I like to think of myself as relatable, trustworthy, and always seeking new opportunities—qualities that are essential in a great estate agent.

With over two years of experience in sales, I thrive on meeting new people and guiding them through property viewings. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the hard work behind a sale come together seamlessly. My dedication to exceptional customer service has even been recognized with awards, which I take great pride in.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me at a charming fish and chip shop in the heart of Babbacombe. Working there not only helps me save for my first home but also keeps me connected to my community. Balancing my career aspirations with practical goals is important to me, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me next!

Megan Everett

Sales Negotiator

I began my estate agency journey in March 2024 and joined Pegg Estates in July. As a naturally bubbly and outgoing person, I love meeting new people every day and helping them find their dream home. Building connections and making the moving process exciting and stress-free for clients is what I enjoy most about this role.

In my spare time, I love getting outdoors—whether it’s paddleboarding, heading to the beach, or playing hockey.
